Sorry for posting a ton of selfies while everyone else posts like one…

Okay, here’s some selfies of me with my fish

Did someone say selfies?

Okay Fishblr, question time.

How do you guys pronounce “Betta.”

-

Bet-uh or Bay-tuh?

-

I’ve always said “bay-tuh” and had no idea others pronounced it any other way. Maybe that’s a southern thing?
What do you guys say?

I used to pronounce it as bay-tuh, but after I got Loki it switched over to bet-tuh.

Yeah I think its a southern thing because I say Bay-tuh and didn’t hear it any other way till I moved to St. louis

I don’t know about that, almost everyone I know in Michigan pronounces it bay-tuh

Hobbies include badgering my mom to let me get a snake and finding loopholes when she says no.

I WANT A SNAKE

"Can I get a fish that looks like a snake?" *shows picture of ropefish*
“You’d have to put a lid on it so it doesn’t get out”
“You know, even with a lid it’s still more likely to get out of its tank than an actual snake. If you don’t want it to escape you should just let me get a real snake”
“Raegan no”

Okay Fishblr, question time.

So my lab group in APES spent most of the hour trying to identify this protist but we couldn’t figure it out, do any of you guys have an idea as to what it might be?
